Our Preschool/Children’s Ministry exists to bring honor and glory to God. First Baptist Church believes that God is most honored and glorified in our Preschool/Children’s Ministries by:

• Scripture: Teach the Bible to children through ministry programs and events (II Timothy 3:16-17 & Hebrews 4:12).

• Family: Support parents as the primary disciple makers of their children (Deuteronomy 6:4-9 & Ephesians 6:4).

• Gospel: Pray the Lord brings salvation to kids through a gospel-centered ministry (Romans 10:17 & Ephesians 2:4-10).

• Church: Engage children into the life of the congregation (Hebrews 10:25 & Titus 2:1-6).

• Missions: Help children share the good news in word and in deed. (Matthew 28:18-20 & Acts 1:8).

• Godliness: Model a godly lifestyle in conversation and in conduct for children (Matthew 5:16 & Matthew 12:34).

Join us in making an eternal investment into the next generation through the Word of God, prayer, and discipling relationships! Check out one of the following opportunities to get plugged into the Preschool/Children’s Ministries:

Extended Care, Pre-K & Kindergarten Chapel, & Family Worship: Care is offered through the Preschool Ministry that extends during the Worship Service for Babies - Kindergarten. Children in Pre-K & Kindergarten attend Chapel during this time to help prepare them to transition into the church worship service. Just as children learn primarily through parents, they also learn about worship by watching their parents and the congregation commune with God through prayer, singing, preaching, and giving. Due to this, 1st - 5th graders attend worship with their families. 1st - 5th graders are also offered a weekly “Kid’s Bulletin” for church that systematically teaches them the life of Christ. The bulletins can be completed and returned to the Welcome Desk for a prize following worship.
